Top sporting performances from our MUL students
On the weekend of 19 & 20 July 2025, both the Erzberg Dirtrun and the Hubiman Sprint Triathlon took place with lively MUL participation.
On the one hand, we are delighted that we were able to get so many students to the start/finish line at these events.
On the other hand, we would especially like to congratulate Gustav Greiner and Samuel Pfusterer, who finished on the podium in their respective competitions.
Gustav was able to secure third place in the 8-km ERZBERG Dirtrun.
Samuel even managed 1st place overall at the Hubiman Traithlon! ...and of course Styrian Academic Champion in this discipline!

At the first Unisport Austria Trail Running Championships, students competed for best times and podium places for their universities in individual and team competitions - with a real trail running feeling around Kufstein.
The team of the Technical University of Leoben, consisting of the women Theresa Mahal & Katharina Lammer (both on the 7km course), and the men Konrad Geyr, Lukas Kölbl and Lukas Habersatter (14km) were able to achieve good individual placings as well as a podium place in the team classification (Theresa Mahal + Konrad Geyr)!
