Strava Run Segment im WS 2025/26
Throughout November, the USI once again called for participants to complete a Strava segment. This year, it was a flat 5-kilometer course (5K measuring distance, Auwald).
Just over 20 runners took to the asphalt and clocked some fast times.
Thomas Duminy from the Chair of Design Engineering in Plastics and Composites impressed with a time of 16:55, clearly the fastest time of the day.
Martina Kaufmann “won” the women's race with a time of 22:44.
We would like to thank everyone for participating and are already thinking about another great/challenging Strava Bike segment for the coming summer semester.
Leoben Academic Championships
On Tuesday, 18 November 2025, the Leoben Academic Championships took place at Asia Spa.

Wings for Life App Run 2026
The registration is open!
Registration for the Wings for Life (App) Run 2026 opened on November 5.
Join us again this year in Leoben and run with like-minded people to escape the virtual Catcher Car. All entry fees go 100% to the Wings for Life Foundation and support its major goal of finding a cure for spinal cord injuries.
